 The Farewell by Federico Garcia Lorca 

Summary: Federico Garcia Lorca, a Spanish poet who was born in 1898 and passed away in 1936, wrote The Farewell, romantic appreciated poetry that described a desire for beautiful sceneries to enjoy even after passing away, the persona conveyed his desire to live on earth for viewing the young kid eating oranges and head the reaper reaping the wheat from his balcony, who asked his family to leave the balcony open to see the family’s condition and the cosmos. 

Four times in this poem, the word balcony is used to describe the vantage point from which the speaker would see the whole life. The persona did not have a frightening feeling toward death owing to his aging. Hence, The Farewell could be the symbol of kicking the bucket.
