All Pervading Poetry by Balkrishna Sama

The poem All Pervading Poetry is written by Balkrishna Sama who was born in Nepal in 1902 and is one of the pioneers of modern Nepali literature and an eloquent nationalist. in the poem, the poet shows the discussion of a holy man and an Aesthete.

A holy man sets out to collect poetry in the forest, but despite searching every waterfall, fruit, and bush, he was unable to locate any. He travels across hills, streams, meadows, and fields. So he comes to the conclusion that the poem is difficult to get. On his way home, he encounters an aesthete who tells him that poetry is all about him and challenges him to view those falls through realistic lenses, even if they will be dry and merely proclaim nothingness, and so on. The holy man then leaves satisfied and returns to his house.
