1(IKEA’s Global Success-Business)
IKEA
is a well-known success story and outgrowth that was founded by Ingvar Kamprad.
IKEA is a prime example of the idea that there isn't a secret recipe for
overnight success. To put it simply, you must work hard every day if you want
to incorporate success into your life. This marketing case study focuses on the
successful execution of IKEA's global marketing strategy.
Ingvar
Kamprad established IKEA in the year 1943. The company's creator has had a
business-focused mindset since he was young. He was certain that he wanted to
pursue a career in business. As he started IKEA and started selling furniture,
he put in a lot of effort. IKEA stores began to open up all over the world, and
its goods quickly became extremely popular. IKEA's use of a global marketing
strategy allowed it to reach millions of people and made it a success!

2(Changing Eating Habits in Italy- Economics/Cultural Studies)
Many
consumers all over the world enjoy Italian food and cooking. Nearly many
Italians agree that they would never give up eating regional cuisine. Some
people even use food as a means of expressing their regional and national
Italian cultures. However, as a result of COVID-19, Italian eating patterns
have changed in 2020 and 2021. Italy has experienced an increase in consumer
expenditure on fresh and frozen food items as a result of an increase in at-home
consumption, following a pattern similar to other nations.

China Plan Revival of Silk Road Trade Routes.
Video’s
summary
An ancient trade route connecting China and the West known as the Silk Road also goes by
the name Silk Route. It was used to transport products and ideas between the
two great civilizations of Rome and China. Wools, gold, and silver moved
eastward while silk moved westward. The Silk Road also brought Buddhism and New
protestant Christianity to China from India. The 4,000-mile (6,400-km) route,
which started in Xi'an (Sian), followed the Great Wall of China to the
northwest before avoiding the Takla Makan Desert, climbing the Pamir Mountains,
passing through Afghanistan, and continuing to the Levant, where it was carried
over the Mediterranean Sea. Few people traveled the entire route, while
middlemen moved the products in a delayed order.
The
Silk Road gradually became less safe and less used as a result of the loss of
Roman control in Asia and the development of Arab authority in the Mideast. The
road was reopened by the Mongols in the 13th and 14th centuries, and at that
time, the Venetian Marco Polo utilized it to travel to Cathay (China). The
pathogens that caused the Black Death pandemic in Europe in the middle of the
fourteenth century are now commonly believed to have traveled this route from
Asia. A constructed highway connecting Pakistan with the Uygur Autonomous
Region of Xinjiang, China, serves as a fragment of the Silk Road. The UN
Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific has proposed a train
alternative to the existing road, which served as the inspiration for a United
Nations plan for a trans-Asian highway (UNESCAP). The Silk Road Project, which
examined cultural traditions along its length and beyond as a means of bridging
arts globally across cultures, was established by cellist Yo-Yo Ma in 1999 as a
result of the road's inspiration.
Reading:
Ø Prediction
of the text type: By suggesting phrases the user might
want to type in a text field, predictive text is an input method that makes it
easier to type on a device. Predictions are made based on the context of the
message's other words and the first few letters that were entered.
Ø Topic
Sentence: The most important sentence in your paragraph is the
topic sentence, which clearly states the subject of the whole paragraph. The
topic sentence is usually the first sentence of the paragraph because it gives
an overview of the sentences to follow. The supporting sentences after the
topic sentence help to develop the main idea. These sentences give specific
details related to the topic sentence. A final or concluding sentence often
restates or summarizes the main idea of the topic sentence.
Ø Understanding
key vocabulary: The understanding of words, including
their structure (morphology), use (grammar), meanings (semantics), and
connections to other words (word/semantic linkages), is referred to as
vocabulary and is a key component of literacy instruction.
Ø Reading
for main idea, details, inferences, identifying purpose and audience:
Readers
must look for patterns in the details as they read in order to infer the
primary theme. The learner must first identify the topic of the writing when
the main idea is clear before figuring out what the writer intended the reader
to comprehend about something.
Ø Synthesizing:
The
process of combining prior information, recently discovered concepts,
connections, inferences, and summaries into a comprehensive and unique
comprehension of a text is known as synthesis. Students who synthesize become
conscious of how their thinking develops and changes as they read a book.
