Annotating
(making notes or comments) a text in reading
Annotating
a text while you read can help you remember the information a lot better. When you
annotate, you make up the text and add notes in the margin as you read. When you
read different writers’ opinions on a single subject, it’s a good idea to
highlight each writer’s opinions in a different color, then underline the
support each writer gives for their opinions. You can also react to a writer’s opinions
by writing notes in the margin, putting a star next to the strongest reasons
and support, etc.
In
reading scanning is done to find keywords like synonyms of people/money….
