Consonant Clusters (NEB XI and XII)

 Consonant Clusters: The consonant cluster or the consonant blend combines at least 2 consonants with no vowel in between while pronouncing. The consonant cluster occurs at  the beginning, middle, and end of the syllable. Two letter consonant clusters like- bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, sc, sk, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, and tw. They   in words are black, blue, blister, blight, blast, bloom, bluff, blink, Friend, frozen, frill, fraction,  sty, stick, stuck, stroke, state, statement,  clip, clown, clothes, clamp,  break, brush, film, floss, glitter, glimpse, plum, plain, slum, slim, cream,  crazy, drone, dress, etc and three-letter consonant clusters such as Sch, Shr, Spl, Squ, Thr, Spr, Scr, Sph like school, scholar, shrine, shrimp,  splinter, splash, square, squeaky, throw, threat, sprout sprung, scrape, script, sphere, etc. in sentences like:  The black box has slide over there. The class 12 girls played flag football on the muddy ground. The brown fox cried lots.
