 Students will be able to explain technical terms related to the writing process, as well as what an essay is and how to write one.

-Enter the classroom without making any remarks. Keep an eye on their activity and remain silent for a few moments.

- Ask students what narration means to them. The students then explain the thesis statement, topic sentence, coherence and cohesive tools, and supporting details such as transitions. They make use of all five senses in their writing.

Describe what an essay is. Show a brief video about an essay. The teacher then chooses a topic and takes notes on the points raised in class about the narrative essay.

Ask students to write for 5 to 10 minutes in their answer booklet on an essay topic that contrasts the family and share their thoughts on it.
