Emails: With the use of the internet, emails have developed into important tools for both professional and casual communication. They allow users to send messages immediately from one system to another and have become the standard method of business communication due to their quickness, ease, and affordability. The benefits of email include its simplicity, speed, informal language, ability to send automated emails with pre-written messages, and lack of paper consumption. Information overload, a lack of human touch, the need to respond, span, absorption, viruses, etc. are all drawbacks of emails. Email etiquette should include being casual but not sloppy, keeping messages brief and to the point, using sentence case, avoiding abbreviations and acronyms, remembering that email isn't private, using the subject line to indicate content and purpose, and keeping in mind that your tone can't be heard in email.
