News Report Writing Tips (NEB XI/XII)
A nonfictional task that elasticity the authenticable information, if there
is a specific event and or issue is referred to as a report- be it oral or
aural along with the written ones. It provides data on a situation, including its aftermath and ongoing
effects, and makes forecasts and interpretations based on the report's facts
using analytical and statistical methods. Reporters’ opinions will play very
significant role in report writing; however, the fact should not be
forgotten. Analysis of the audience is done in report writing, but the
outlines of the news report are normally the Headline or the Title of the news report, and then there will be the byline
which is written as an optional part. After that, the name of the reporter,
reporting place, and date are mentioned. Hitting 5ws in your head, you have
to prepare the report. Giving the background information, a reporter enters
the body paragraph and then the conclusion is done.
In a nutshell, the news report is likely to have the headline, byline,
place, date, introduction, body and then conclusion respectively.

Two die of cold in Sarlahi

SARLAHI, DECEMBER 20
Two persons from the Musahar community died of cold in the last two weeks.
Those losing lives to chill are from Pidari of Haripur Municipality-9 in
Sarlahi Ramesh Majhi,40, from ward no 9, labor, and Ram Bhagat Majhi, 65,
from ward no 6 of Haripur Municipality lost their lives due to severe cold,
according to the District Police Office. Ramesh used to work as a laborer.
He died while sleeping. He had slept in straw.

Chairman of ward 9, Bishwanath Raya, informed that the Musahar community was living in a sorry state- no warm clothes to wear and for sleeping. He however said he was not aware of the death of Ramesh due to cold.
He informed that efforts were on to distribute blankets with the
coordination of NGOs to the people affected by the cold.
